I figure that the low starred reviews here are probably past people disappointed considering this is not a romantic one-act though it has been advertised equally such. Sad, Sexy, Raucous Laugh Out Loud Funny

This is the starting time book I've read in a while that's been for pleasure, rather than for review. And oh my goodness what a pleasance. I connected with the principal character (Sally) in a way I haven't done in a while. I felt her pain, her grief, her loss. I continued with the chief character (Sally) in a mode I haven't washed in a while. I felt her pain, her grief, her loss. I also understood fully her reactions, her decisions, her blunders – only most of all her courage and her sense of humour. I didn't read this volume, I lived information technology. I loved information technology. It's only so real, so gritty, and so funny. Ms Zia, I will definitely exist buying and reading more of your books! I downloaded this one a while ago, when it was on free promotion, and it'due south been sitting on my To Read list for what seems like an age – I really really actually regret now not having opened this book sooner. It's one I'll be returning to, again and again. And over again. This is a book that lends itself to existence revisited, like an old friend. A friend that gets into places y'all might adopt to keep in the dark, but besides a friend that comforts yous, yet makes you cry with laughter. This is a volume about life and it is a romance as well, you volition get lost in the story and not desire to put it down until it is finished.

I really tried to like this book and gave information technology a practiced go, reading upwardly to about the halfway mark. But it merely didn't get off the ground. A widow of a stone star left in financial difficulty and putting on a brave face up for those around her while she tries to find her manner in the world. There were some funny moments and information technology's very tender and moving in places, but it but moved and then slowly. Had I not been tempted past other reads, I probably would take finished information technology, simply information technology just got bypassed. I really tried to like this book and gave it a expert go, reading upward to near the halfway marker. Merely it just didn't become off the ground. I merely wish information technology had been proof read a little better.
The story itself deserves five stars & believe me I truly want to give it that.
Just the modest errors do insist that information technology exist marked downward.
This is the outset time I have read Stephanie's piece of work and I shall certainly do so again.
All in all - a skillful 4 stars from me. This was an amazingly well thought out story. I was fatigued in from the opening chapter and I did not want to put it down.
I just wish it had been proof read a little better.
The story itself deserves five stars & believe me I truly want to give it that.
But the small errors do insist that information technology be marked down.
This is the start time I have read Stephanie's work and I shall certainly practice and then once more.

Wavering between three and four stars. This was a Kindle freebie. I think it was probably a scrap too realistic for the showtime half, in that the primary character got too bogged downwardly in her grief and could not motion on. It was funny in bits and inciteful but it was not until the end of the holiday that there was any light at the end of the tunnel ... and information technology was at that signal I wanted more.
